Nova Health Therapies, Inc. is currently seeking a Pupil Personnel Credentialed School Psychologist for a full time school-based SLP opportunity in Santa Clara County. The professional will hold a current or be eligible for California Teacher Commission Pupil Personnel Services School Psychology Credential.
Responsibilities of the School Psychologist (SP)
- Undertake assessment procedures, techniques, and standardized tests necessary for thorough and accurate diagnosis of disorders.
- Undertake development and implementation of Individualized Education Plan including initial, annual, triennial and interim plans.
- Have knowledge and expertise in Special Education areas.
- Perform all other School Psychology duties as assigned.
Requirements of the School Psychologist (SP)
- Equivalency to Master's degree from an accredited Educational Psychology Program.
- Possess or be eligible for California Teaching Commission PPS Credential.
- Experience in working with students with needs in the areas of specific learning disabilities, intellectual deficits, emotional disturbance.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and techniques of educational psychology.
